For the affiliate marketer, this may seem like an insurmountable roadblock but that’s simply not true. More than ever, people are looking for solutions to their problems. That’s why you’ll need to have a strategic plan for getting traffic to your website.

The truth is that despite harsh economic times, many affiliate marketers are thriving. They refuse to let a little thing like “the economy” stand in the way of affiliate marketing success. Here are 5 ways that you can use to attract lots of website visitors and earn a pile of money:

1.    Don’t cut your marketing lifeline.
If you’ve been investing in high-impact marketing, this is not the time to cut costs. Continue to promote your affiliate products aggressively. Marketing is the lifeblood of marketing. The goal is not to do less of it; the goal is to do it better than your competitors do.

2.    Demonstrate value for the dollar.
