While you may hear horror stories about people who have seen a significant drop in online income, you should not let their misfortunes influence you. You can build a lucrative affiliate marketing business if you take the time to understand the buying behavior of your customers.

Here are three critical factors to remember when promoting your products to today’s customer:

1.    Your buyers insist on buying value.
More than ever, buyers are insisting on buying more bang for their buck. With so many news stories revolving around people who have been scammed out of their hard-earned cash, it’s no wonder why today’s consumer is more discriminating about their purchases.

Conduct your business with the utmost integrity and treat your customers with respect.
