Everyone wants to change something about themselves or their situation. And we should continually strive to improve ourselves. That’s part of our reason for being.

But, we often make the mistake of creating massive plans for change – plans that cause us to wait for the opportunity to get
started. Sometimes, weeks go by while we’re waiting for the “perfect” time to begin.

Think about how many things you’ve put off until the “time was right.” You knew you should have gotten started. You still know
it. But, the right time never came.

When I’m teaching workshops, I meet a lot of people who have terrific plans. They’re very excited about these plans. They’re
often not accomplishing anything, but they have great plans.

Of course, making the plan is a good start. But, success will only occur when you being putting your plan into action.

Let me suggest you break any plan into simple steps. Steps that you can easily get done in a few hours or a day. Then, get
started now . . . today.

You’ve probably heard this one:

How do you eat an elephant?

One bite at a time.

How do you accomplish your plans? One day at a time.

Start changing your life one day at a time. Just do something –
anything – each day.

If you’ll do this, you’ll see tremendous progress much more quickly than if you continue to wait for the right time.

Start today.

Yours in success,

Shawn
