Its strange really, you have many ideas and want to get them down in words but when you start your mind bucket empties and you stall. Bit like going to the supermarket you think about your needs all the way there and come home without half of it buying other items as you pass them by instead. I always suggest writing down any thoughts you have or pop them onto a pocket dictaphone at least you will not forget the ideas then.
