Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.

- Albert Einstein

This statement is more proof that Albert was a genius. How many times have you encountered opposition from family, friends and associates when you bring up great ideas? I know the answer . . . more times than you can count.

We know Albert was a very smart man so please notice that he did not say, Geniuses have always encountered violent opposition . . . He used the words, “Great spirits.”

Great spirits are embodied in the people who strive to achieve more in life and in business. Intelligence is not the test to determine a great spirit. Your level of personal or financial success is not the test.

The real test is your attitude. How do you attack every single day of your life?

When you bring a great attitude together with a worthy set of goals, amazing things can happen.

For example, my wife grew up in a poor household primarily because her father passed away when she was only twelve. She had to start working at a young age just to make ends meet in the household. Even now, you can hear the determination in her voice when she recalls vowing that when she grew up, she’d have control over her life, money in the bank and not have to live the rest of her life worrying constantly.

Of course, she achieved these things because she set her mind to them and took action to achieve her goals. She did this in spite of people like her mother and her first husband who tried to stop her from attending college and, later, from working.

By the way, for you skeptics among the readership… she was successful before she married me.

Let your spirit soar and you can achieve great things!

Yours in success,

Shawn
